You can set access controls (also called permission levels) across the entire workspace, on a group of pages in a folder, and on a page. The more detailed security overrides general security. For instance, Folder security overrides workspace security. Page security overrides folder security.
What does this mean?
A Student who is a writer on the workspace can be given editor access on a group of pages in a folder. For just the pages in that folder, the student will have editor access and not writer access. (Folder security overrides workspace security)
A student who has reader permission on the workspace can be given editor access on a page. For just that page, the student will have editor access (Page level access overrrides workspace security)
A student who is a reader on the workspace has editor permission on a group of pages in a folder. On one of the pages in that folder, the page level security is hidden. This means for just that page the student can not view or edit the page. Page security overrides folder security and workspace-wide security.
Homework is due on Friday July 10th -- No excuses!
