I was able to review seven or eight from my group. I'm using the olive green to mark my approval. Need to get working on some grad school research now, so any mentors who has some time, feel free to tackle some of those G-L names.
Shayne Train said
at 2:09 pm on Jun 28, 2009
Ok Taz. You're busy this month!
Shayne Train said
at 5:10 pm on Jun 28, 2009
I have copied the organization of another level and moved down anyone who has not marked their homework as complete (by coloring it yellow). Mentors will keep checking to see when you are done and move you up. It's a little easier to see what is going on this way. I know some of you are at the conference etc.
Shayne Train said
at 11:44 am on Jun 29, 2009
HEY EVERYONE, Technologist Mentors are an understaffed and overworked group... please stay patient and we'll get to your homework if your work is above the line, having been submitted relatively on time. Otherwise, we'll try...
Mrs. Diane Main (Staff) said
at 10:05 pm on Jun 29, 2009
Any chance we could reorganize by names? It's hard for me to find the people I am supposed to review.
Shayne Train said
at 10:53 pm on Jun 29, 2009
I started by sorting by name and then working down. Rearranging the names is going to take forever -- maybe we can wait until we see who is not doing the camp anymore. I can't seem to copy or cut and paste more than one or two rows at a time, and then pbWorks locks up on me. I tried to move everyone down who had not done their work. I'm going on a "date" with the hubby tomorrow - he took the day off -- so I won't be around until evening. Have fun! (Hope the grading went well).
By the way, we have been joined by Andrea, a pbWorks intern.
Kristi Mead said

My homework is marked incomplete, but it is not incomplete. It says see note from Taz...can someone ask Taz to see my response to her note. I'm not sure how to get a hold of her. Thanks.
Shayne Train said
at 6:02 pm on Jun 30, 2009
Kristi - I've tried to clarify it on your homework week 1 page. You need to do Technologist questions AND another level eg. elementary, district, etc. I'm going to delete the comments you put on the table and I'll check back a little later. By the way, each of us has a page and you can find Taz's page on the Profile-Mentor page.
Shayne Train said
at 7:46 pm on Jun 30, 2009
Taz, Andrea, Bruce - I'm not sure when you can check homework. I know Taz has been grading students. So I'm just going to check and mark as campers post completed homework - I'm not following any system anymore. Hope this is o.k.
Shayne Train said
at 8:32 pm on Jun 30, 2009
All the groups with a large camp roster have been splitting up the original page due to size warnings. I've created a second page for incomplete work and there is a link on the page to get to it. Campers, if you finish WK 1 homework by Wednesday, we will mark you as complete and move you back to the original page.
Robin Navel said
at 7:16 am on Jul 1, 2009
Since I do not see my HW1 listed here, I assume it is still in the Technology - incomplete folder. However, I am unable to locate the incomplete folder to see if there are comments regarding things I need to finish. I had updated everything late yesterday (June 30). Please advise!!! Robin Navel
Shayne Train said
at 7:20 am on Jul 1, 2009
Robin, there's a link at the top of the page to the incomplete folder. I've actually marked your work complete (green) and will be moving it back to the main page. Don't worry.
Robin Navel said
at 7:46 am on Jul 1, 2009
Thank you! Now I can move on!!!
Shayne Train said
at 2:49 pm on Jul 1, 2009
I figured out how to put the roster in alphabetical order. I sorted the list (by clicking on the arrow beside name), copied it, then pasted it to page (and then, once I made sure it worked, I deleted the orginal table).
Ann Porta said
at 7:46 pm on Jul 1, 2009
Thank you SO much for alphabetizing the list! Much easier to navigate.
Shayne Train said
at 7:53 pm on Jul 1, 2009
Right before I went to bed last night I figured out how to do it (or hoped I had) and then I lay awake wanting to turn the computer back on to try it! :-)
Shayne Train said
at 6:34 am on Jul 2, 2009
And you are near the top now, so you don't have to scroll! :-)
Ann Porta said

Of course! It's all about me!!! Not really, but it IS nice!
Shayne Train said
at 6:33 am on Jul 2, 2009
On the Incomplete Technologist list I have separated off campers who answered ONE set of questions in details. Can we let them go on? It's a short list. There's a longer list of campers who didn't do homework at all or provided very short answers.

Hi,
I completed my hw week 2 last Thursday, highlighted the link in yellow on the chart to show it was finished. My week 2 page is in the folder. I'm not sure why it was placed in the incomplete page? Can you help me??
Shayne Train said
at 9:55 am on Jul 6, 2009
Because your link and yellow highlight got deleted! :-( Sometimes it will happen accidentally, but I see that you actually finished your page days ago. I will fix it, Karen.
Mrs. Diane Main (Staff) said
at 2:47 pm on Jul 6, 2009
Shayne and others:
1. THANKS so much for putting everyone in alphabetical order.
2. Every time I sit down to review people's work, it's done already! Stop being so efficient!!! (j/k)
Shayne Train said
at 2:56 pm on Jul 6, 2009
Sort, copy and paste!
And if my husband or kids heard you say that I'm efficient, they'd laugh their heads off!
I knew you were busy with marking grad students but that you'd be back when you could.
Shayne Train said
at 2:58 pm on Jul 6, 2009
Anybody who is registered for tomorrow's webinar needs to go back and re-register. Please take a look at the Front Page for more information.
Bev Byrd said

I have been in and out of town but in from here on out. Could you check and make sure I haven't been placed on the out. I would like to be on the in. Thanks, and I understand if not possible.
Shayne Train said
at 6:47 am on Jul 7, 2009
Bev, I'm sorry but pbworks has already removed people who didn't complete weeks 1 and 2. Even if your account is deleted, I believe you'll still be able to look at the information that's posted but you won't be able to earn the premium wiki. The information, however, is still valuable. Sorry about that, and I hope you were having a good time while away.
Lori said
at 1:16 pm on Jul 7, 2009
I've completed my Homework 2 Assignment now and posted the link by my on the Technologist's Incomplete Page. I'll be able to complete all of my other homework assignments on time now as I've returned from the conference I was away at. Is there something I need to do to get back on this active class roster or is it too late for me now?

Shayne, for some reason, both my profile page link and my Homework Week 1 link got changed to a url to someone else's wiki. I'm not sure why and it was a wiki I didn't have access to. Both of my actual pages still existed in the Camp wiki, so I changed my links back to the correct pages. I hope that's okay.

I have completed all assignments up to Week 3. Can I still be included?

I suspect that your name has already been removed from the camp list, but I've asked Kristine, our camp leader, for clarification on how to tell. Even if you can't earn the premium wiki, the information is still valuable, so feel free to learn with us. If you're still on, we can go back and "mark" your work, Kristi.

Hi Shayne, I had completed assignments 1 and 2 and you checked both of them. I was about to enter my Homework 3, but then my name was no longer on this page. Now, I'm on the incomplete page! What should I do?

I just sent you an e-mail, also sent to Andrea who works for pbworks. Your links appear to be accidentally removed and I've put you back on the main list. Frustrating, hu? And something to watch out for with our own classes.

Thanks, Shayne! Yes, it's not a fun feeling when you're accidentally "deleted." ;)

Hi Diane, I got a little bit confused as to where to post my homework. I just posted my name and weeks 1, 3 and 4 on the level - technologists roster table. I would love some feedback. Also I had created a page for week 2 of homework, but somehow it got lost in cyberspace. Help!

A big thank you to Andrea who helped mark the Technologist homework!
