Week Two Webinar recordingThis week we spoke about interactive media and live streamed the show. The live stream version is very easy to embed, you can watch it below!
Patricia, Mentor -- Check out this bio for more information on her presentation Sheri, Mentor -- Check out this bio for more information on her presentation
The vimeo upload of the screen recording is not working, you can check on it here. http://vimeo.com/5411883 You can email the vimeo support folks and tell them that their system isn't working -- (I have already done this as well)
You can download the webinar here (this is an .avi file) 2009-06-30 10.05 PBworks Summer Camp.avi

Is there a way to see what is happening on the computer screen?
Thank you!

This "streaming" version of the webinar (which I missed) is very disappointing because the video is just the presenter with audio of what she's doing on the screen, but not the screens she's talking about. Hard to follow.

Michael,
The video is too large to upload to vimeo. That's why it is important to attend the even live.

I also think it would have been very useful being able to see your screen. It does take a lot of imagination to try and figure out what it is that is a happening. I guess it is different when it is the live version - but it presents a lot of ideas for exploration. This is an instructive and profitable way to spend the summer.......

I agree - I missed Tuesday's webinar, and I'm looking for a recorded version of what was shown on the computer screen. Will that be posted?

I missed Tuesday's webinar as well. I would love to see what was on the computer screen to follow along. I hope that will be posted as well.

Go to the Front Page (click on the PBWorks summer camp logo at the top of any page) and scroll down and you'll see the link. It's also listed on the Site Map (which is on the Sidebar at the right).

I think it is in the week one resource area.

Kristine et al - are you using a screen cast program so that we can follow along with what is going on on the computer screen?

Since it is not possible to see what is happening on the screen as the recorded webinar is progressing - can you provide a link to the igoogle page to see the example. I have already established a site in google and I am little confused as to whether I should be embedding the google pages in the wiki or linking to the wiki from the google pages. Suggestions?

Thanks for providing the second webinar - it was the only way I could have accessed a live session!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend a live session. The recording is okay, but a bit confusing as others have said. The resource lists are a big support to reinforcing what was talked about in the webinar. I'm having trouble understanding how to do the chat. When I click the Chatango link the program tries to create a new page. Yet, when I click on the embedded chat posted on the resource page, I get the embed code. Is there a tutorial for this like the ones for podcasts, video, etc.?

The recording didn't work at the begining, and today is the first time I am able to download and watch the recording of the live session. I used the resources to do week 2 homework.
I hoped that the recorded session showed the screen of the mentor. It will be really helpful to post it if you have it. Thanks.
